“The twenty-two works exhibited at Art Jakarta Gardens 2025 this time, specifically feature the series “Kidung Puja Semesta” (Hymn to the Universe) which is one of the series generated from research on “Subak”, a Balinese traditional irrigation system inherited from generation to generation until today. Unlike the other series, – (among others; Tale of Jatiluwih, Homage to Water, Welcoming Prosperity, Return to Water, Song of Impatiens Balsamina Rose, and Gift of Great Harvest) – “Kidung Puja Semesta” expresses a form of offering to the bounty of the universe that is abundant to the entire community in Jatiluwih Village.”
